Christensen disruptive innovation is an innovation that creates a new market and value network and eventually disrupts an existing market and value network, displacing established market leaders and alliances. Apple's iPhone is a disruptive innovation in the Smartphone market. Apple's iPhone is not only the phone but also the network platform. The App Store is increasing dramatically the utility value of the device as well as the different network enterprises. iPhone is a revolutionary product for Smartphone market when it was launched. But in this competitive market, there are so many different android phones. All these companies offer lots more facilities as well as a new upgraded version of the software. There are lots more to increase in iPhone if we compare with other phones. According to the customer reviews, iphone is moving towards Late Majority phase in the technology adaption lifecycle. Apple launched iPhone SE on march 2016. It can support iOS 9.3 where as Apple already launched iOS 10. They have to improve their android version. iPhone provide very small screen as compared to other android phone. example, iPhone SE has 326ppi where as One plus X has 441ppi. It provides only 1.3 megapixel of front camera, but other phone offers 5 to 8 megapixel of selfie camera. Selfie camera is most essential things for all customers. Nowadays, many customers want a big size phone. Screen size of the iPhone is 4 inches only. So they have to increase the size of their product. According to Gartner the reason for Apples quarterly drop was mainly due to the stronger greenback and high import tariffs in developing countries. They have to resolve different issues and also lower the cost of their product for better business.
